    I figured it out. Hough it may just be a work around. I port forwarded 443 to 22 and kept WinSSHD listening on 22, so now it works...if anyone cares.

    I did all the updates, I believe some were kernel updates. After reboot I have no WiFi. I was using madwifi and under Hardware drivers there is nothing listed now? How do I get the wifi back?

    alright I replaced the messed up xorg file with the back up and rebooted and still X failed to start.
    It asks if I would like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem.
