Re: Kernel 4.7 (Release Candidate) Series

This worked fine for my nonbooting 4.6.1. I just had to change the update-initramfs line a bit.
  2. [ubuntu] Re: No WiFi reconnect after wakeup from suspend

The only way I found to somewhat solve this is to try

    sudo killall wpa_supplicant
    until it connects correctly. :(
  3. [ubuntu] Re: No WiFi reconnect after wakeup from suspend

I tried all three ways (with a reboot between them) and still no chance. I always see the DEAUTH_LEAVING inside dmesg. But the connection after a clean boot works fine. Only after suspend it cannot...
  4. [ubuntu] Re: No WiFi reconnect after wakeup from suspend

Thanks for your reply chili555. I forgot to mention that this was even my first try. ;)

  5. [ubuntu] No WiFi reconnect after wakeup from suspend

When I reopen the lid from my Laptop everything works fine. Just my WiFi isn't able to reconnect to our WLAN. dmesg shows me:

[ubuntu] Re: Thunderbird stable ppa still needed?

Nowadays Mozilla provides compiled versions of Firefox and Thunderbird. You just needs to download, unpack and use it. To make it more comfortable you can also create a small .desktop file for it.
  8. [SOLVED] Re: Downgrade !! (Go back to Ubunut 10.10)

To avoid problems in future you better install your root directory in a seperate small partition and have your home directory in another huge one. That way you never lose stuff. ;)

Re: How to Install Thunderbird 3.1

Lightning is not part of the x64 package anymore. So whoever wants the calendar takes the addon.

Re: How to Install Thunderbird 3.1

I uploaded my version onto my website. So whoever wants to give it a try:

    http://www.cybercosmonaut.de/debs/thunderbird_3.1.2_amd64.deb

There should be no problem with different sources because...

Re: How to Install Thunderbird 3.1

I am just not sure how to name my deb. For example the one I created is named thunderbird_3.1.2_amd64.deb but the versions on the ppa have other names. Also I am not sure if my compiled version...

Re: How to Install Thunderbird 3.1

I uninstalled TB 3.0.x first but to be sure that you don't loose anything you should backup your TB profile which is normally found in ~/.thunderbird
