Your logfiles are ok. The Intel GPU seems to run accelerated, and your Nvidia GPU should work also.

Nvidia-current will refuse to install if laptop is not set to discrete or switchable graphics.
If it refuses booting/starting X with discrete graphics, try the boot option

So your Nvidia got recognized. Jockey doesn't offer a driver because it would break your X; the Nvidia driver has got to be installed in a special way, as bumblebee does.

Just testet daily snapshot 12.10. Everything is now in xorgedgers, besides xrandr. Guess your problems with the modesetting driver instead of nouveau is due to the fact you
