Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to be traveling for a week or so so I won't be able to check until I get back.
  4. [ubuntu] Re: Not getting an ssh login on one computer

All settings are the defaults. In fact I've never needed anything else in the past to get it to work on Ubuntu.
I guess I'll go back through the logs and see if I can find anything.
    Unfortunately I...

Re: Upgrade to 20.04 broke packages

Since Crossover is proprietary and since the OP tried to upgrade to Ubuntu there may be other issues as well.
Depending on what you want to do:

You could try waiting for Crorssover to get 20...

Re: Upgrade to 20.04 broke packages

It looks like something wasn't installed properly.

    sudo do-release-upgrade
    or the GUI equivalent
    did you:

    sudo upgrade
    sudo update
    before starting the upgrade?
  13. Re: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with Mated Desktop - Users aren't logged out.

I agree it seems to be switching users but not logging out.
I'm pretty sure I clicked on the "logout" button in the menu.
I can try again and be very very careful but it's happened several times....

  16. Re: Can't create file on external USB drive.

That went fine but once the drive was reformatted I got an...
  17. Re: Can't create file on external USB drive.

Thats the way it came. Since I was only doing it for a limited operation I didn't reformat.

  23. Re: Hard Drive Reportds Incorrect Partition SIze

OK I'm positive that mdadm was used to create the raid array. I checked and madam was not installed on this machine. I installed it, that may help decipher the drive.
  24. Re: Hard Drive Reportds Incorrect Partition SIze
