    Setting the hdd from AHCI to Compatability mode in the bios let the xp disk recognize the hdd. It still says there is an unknown disk though but idk what to do about that....

    I think it was mounted automatically but I typed in those commands anyway. So it's mounted, now I'll try windows again for ***** and giggles.
