I'm thinking fglrx may be causing hibernate to lock up. Will test this once I do another install.
I tested w/ wireless module blacklisted. So, wireless should be fine.

For 14.10 it all works, Intel Wireless 4965 AG / AGN wifi card.

Internal mic and wireless drivers don't work out of box but both are fixable pretty easily
I've successfully installed Java from the Medibuntu repo. Based upon prior experience, I selected the sdk version.

I had a major issue during an updating from 10.10 my machine started to freeze during the startup. Many workarounds and suggestions were applied, but finally I had to re-install from iso.

Laptop: Toshiba
Model number: PSA70C RX100E
OS: Ubuntu 9.04 (has run 6.10, 6.06, 5.10)
CPU: Pentium® 4 supporting Hyper-Threading 3.20 GHz
Video: ATI 9100 IGP RS300M, 64MB-128MB shared memory...
