Hi right from the start there has been problems with the keyboard reconnecting after a period timeout. I seem to have stumbled upon a way to do this ... but it may not be the best practice ......
finally got the keyboard working perfectly..... here is my hcid.conf

damn, its not working again ... broke after another upgrade, this time the previous fix is not working ... anyone experiencing the same problem.

FIXED: found the solution to keyboard not reconnecting
remove the --master option from the hidd options in /etc/default/bluetooth
