    I don't know about ndivia, but on ati all drivers don't work with all kernels. You have to had patched driver to be able to add it on later kernel as module if there is no original support from amd....

    How to fix hdmi issue?

    I don't know how to fix this issue.

    So the problem is that 13.10 saucy kubuntu doesn't recognize hdmi and dvi same time. Another goes blank. And even hdmi would be "on", I don't hear any sound.

    I was able to build ati as module. Not so sure about the ati version. I had ready on my hdd. But it's the latest offical or the latest beta. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure.

    You really tried the latest 1.6 series of wine? What's your kernel version? Can be seen no uname -a command. I am not sure of ndivia but on ati case you should reinstall ati drivers on every kernel...
