Thanks a lot, SkiesOfAzel. I'm now running macmenu-applet on Feisty amd64 (I compiled it myself) :D

you have to send an .png image over /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/distributor-logo.png
it doesn't need to be 48x48, actually I recommend you to use the same height you use on your panel :)
...
You already said that. And I've already answered.
double posted, ignore it
There's a link at gnome-look to http://xpedition.mine.nu/theme/macosx.html
At this site, click at the symbol beside "gnoMAC Theme Pack (by lizardking)".
sudo apt-get install libsamplerate0 libjack0.80.0-0 libortp0
this command should take care of all the libs it will ask before running successfully (it did here)
good luck!
I guess those icon themes were developed to work with KDE. To get the GNOME version, please consider looking at gnome-look.org:
Crystal SVG Icons 1.2.0 »...
wonderful!!
the autostart method worked perfect with me :)
i just had to set xfce splash to none in order to see only the enlightenment splash screen, not both :P

maybe a sudo mkdir /opt on the start of the script will help yo ;)
it works perfect now, thanks a lot :D
now i'm just looking for all the metacity keybindings to import to xfwm4
well, they're here:
conf editor > /apps/metacity/global_keybindings
conf editor >...
the entry for xfwm4 looks ok on /usr/bin/gnome-wm, see:
if [ ! -z "$SMID" ] ; then
case `basename $WINDOW_MANAGER` in
sawfish|sawmill|metacity)
OPT1=--sm-client-id=$SMID

very nice, i've hated to use light wallpapers because of that but now i've got rid of this problem :)
thanks a lot ;D
that command was just an example, probably you installed amsn on ~/msn/amsn so you should replace /usr/local/share/amsn/amsn with it.
P-E-R-F-E-C-T ! you're the man :P
thanks it really works :)
i'm using fasterfox to chronomete it and all the pages are 1/4 faster (at least) :D
hey theine, now i had the opportunity to test it and it doesn't work at all :(
metacity is still running, no xfwm4 :(

Just a theme suggestion:
Shady Days http://www.uoguelph.ca/~fanguelo/img/shadydays.png
Screen by epicbard.
nice one oblib, very chic way :D
ok then you need to ctrl+L everytime you open nautilus ^^
nice :)
there's a better way to change themes for root applications (at least I think so):
just move the folders inside ~/.themes to to /usr/share/themes
I think you could give some advices for...
Other packages you need:
libpng
libpng-dev
I think libavcodec-dev would be the right package when you mean libavcodec. Another mistake here:
bzcat ../MPlayer-1.0pre7-gtk2.patch.bz2 |patch -p1...
Tested and approved :)
If you don't want it to be permanent, you can just remove its executable permission:
sudo chmod -x /etc/init.d/ntpdate
