    download the file to your desktop, then in a terminal go to that directory (if user isn't ubuntu change that)

    depends on what os they are running...

    if they are running windows, there should be built-in remote desktop features...so they would need to configure their desktops for you to connect to...

    I decided to drop vista for xp, no problems
