Post the output from 'lspci' command here so that people can make suggestions to fix your issue - it is possible that your laptop may actually contain different hardware?
Try 'onboard' which can be autostarted at boot time. If onboard is not installed you should be able to install it using the repos.

Here is a good tutorial on how to boot from the grub-rescue prompt

Also worth trying purging the nouveau package, if it already installed, and then re-install the nouveau package before you give up on this.
The message you see on the top left hand corner is most likely saying that the OS has just checked the filesystem for errors. This would have nothing to do with your display issue unless it reports...
If all you are trying to do is to uninstall nVidia, why not simply uninstall all nVidia packages? This probably is the simplest and safest way to do what you are trying to achieve. Once nVidia...
I can vaguely remember seeing a similar error message with LXLE 18.04 recently. Unfortunately, I cannot recall how I fixed it but it may have been either using Etcher to burn the ISO (I used a USB...

As mentioned, the one I used is Edirol UM2 - which is a USB pluggable midi device to which you connect the midi output of the synth. I am sure there may be newer and better units out there now so you...
Perhaps this may help....https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2452824
Some years ago I used Roland RS5 without any issues using Edirol UM2 midi box. I think the critical component will be the midi box you are going to use and not so much the brand of the keyboard.

This is the solution that worked for me.

Given your source disk is bigger than the mSata drive, using dd might not be the best solution as this means even if you copy just the partition then you have the issue of having to re-install grub...
I think it would be simpler to do the following - IF your mSata drive is equal or bigger in size to your 2.5" drive;
1. Boot the system with LiveUSB/LiveDVD - open terminal and sudo -s <return> to...
