    /dev/sda {

    }

    but it didn't help...maybe i write with wrong syntax?

    i restarted after running chmod...but it's the same....the other command about the rate of wlan connection works fine....
    the hdparm command works properly just if i run it from terminal...:confused:

    i need to run this command at the boot of computer

    hdparm -B 255 /dev/sda

    i saved this command in the file /etc/rc.local
    but i don't know why...it doesnt work, so i have to run it...

    i have been trying for 3 days in installing ubuntu 10.4, 10.10 and the same for kubuntu....without any success...
    the installation take a lot of time and when it's finished and restarting computer...

    i'm new in this forum and new at obuntu distribution, i wanted just say that this is a really good guide and works pretty well...
    the only bad things is that anyway the card won't...
