ok...i know im a newbie...i think i wanted to do something bigger than me...and now i want to clean everything and going back...
here it's what i did on this page:...
i copied what u suggested me in that file...and i tried also with
/dev/sda {
apm = 255
}
but it didn't help...maybe i write with wrong syntax?
disk/by-id/<symlink-to-sda> with what i...
i restarted after running chmod...but it's the same....the other command about the rate of wlan connection works fine....
the hdparm command works properly just if i run it from terminal...:confused:

i have been trying for 3 days in installing ubuntu 10.4, 10.10 and the same for kubuntu....without any success...
the installation take a lot of time and when it's finished and restarting computer...

i just bought this kit,router + wireless pen. reading around i noticed that maybe it hasn't a full compatibility with linux and ubuntu distribution.... i mean the pen for example works...
i don't know if it's the right place to ask,as i said in a post before i tried those native driver...those works pretty good,but i noticed that sometime my connection is like freezed...and then start...

i think that u're totally right...these drivers are ok,got working my 1390 and thanks to whom made this guide...but of course all of us wait for native linux drivers...the card would have many and...
