1. Tried to reconfigure xorg.
2. Made sure all xord-server-video- driver were installed.

Thanks anyways! Actually, i think it just needed the path to rtorrent because the screen for the script launched fine with out a path making me curious if the fact screen was installed via apt while...
Thank you very much! Sure enough that did the trick. Any particular reason this was needed on lucid but not precise/quantal? Is it because I used a ppa on Precise/Quantal?
I have a lucid vps and want to run rtorrent at stat up. I have an auto download script running in combination with rtorrent, and it runs on start up just fine. rtorrent does not.
My crontab looks...
Thanks, that fixed it!
Here we go...
Man pages are only as useful as the time and effort put in to them, and the users ability to understand them. Google tends offer a far better explanation...
Thanks, that helped me identify the problem. I am trying to set up a VPS but automate the set up through a bash script. I know adduser is the proper way, and useradd is not, but I thought it would be...
I am setting up a VPS and have the options Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64bit Lucid or Ubuntu 11.10 64bit Oneric. I decided to go with Lucid since it was LTS(although I originally had installed Oneric as I read...
Is there any where to get presets for the eq?
Well form the looks of it, there is some major corruption. The system freeze/reboot probably did not help matters, but what can ya do? It is taking a noticeably long time to repair a number of MP3...

I think you are a few years to late :p.
fsck will not let you run on a mounted partition these days. It gives an error message.
I have 2 separate issues here with 2 separate HDDs.
HDD 1. One HDD is reporting 0 space left in dolphin. However, I know I did not use up all the space, and KDE Partition Manager and Gparted show...
Sorry to bump this but I came here with a similar problem, burg themes not applying. So I checked the tutorial linked above. I had read over it a few times before, but when trying to change themes in...
Steve, thanks for a reply! No I get no warnings of any kind. Just the sort of hot reboot attempt, almost similar to a log out rather then a full on hard reboot.
When you say you are unable to run...
@SteveDee, thanks for the list. I will find this useful. Most of the package names are easy to figure out, but in a few cases, such as games, the package name is not so obvious.
