    Re: Widely accessible 3D development?

You don't have to place it on a remote server, you can keep the HTML5 files on your computer, open them in your browser and develop it as you go. You only need to upload it if you have to share.

    Re: Widely accessible 3D development?

I was looking into having 3D stuff display on the browser, and the truth seems to be your best options are either Unity, WebGL, or something using Flash.

Personally, I'd suggest WebGL. It's an...

Re: Idea: Porting Halo: Custom Edition to Linux

    Hey King Dude,
What you're suggesting is theoretically possible. It's known as creating an open source clone of a game engine. Off the top of my head there's other examples like CorsixTH for Theme...

Re: How to make a Game

Going through all your options, I think your best option is Stencyl. It runs on Ubuntu, exports to Flash, and is designed to make game development easier for those with no extensive programming...

Re: Counter-Strike: GO Might Soon Be Out On Linux

ELD, the truth is you don't have a fact to support any of your arguments, and you never had.

You claimed Phronix was bad, you claimed a Reddit subforum was better, you claim I am blinded, you...

Re: Counter-Strike: GO Might Soon Be Out On Linux

You're saying I blindly believe everything Phoronix says? I'm slightly insulted at you saying that about me, but if you back up the comment with a good example of me doing this I'd appreciate it....

Re: Counter-Strike: GO Might Soon Be Out On Linux

I already mentioned that exact article:

As I've said, he was reporting on this UK Telegraph article which stated:

If you look at the Phoronix article you linked, you can specifically...

Re: Counter-Strike: GO Might Soon Be Out On Linux

ELD, I cannot think of what article you're thinking of. Phoronix started with a few articles about finding Linux relevant stuff in the Steam client and hyping it slightly, it came to a head when he...

I've already dug up the Phoronix article you're referring to, he was referencing this Telegraph article (last paragraph). Effectively an English newspaper stated Valve had confirmed that the Steam...

Re: Counter-Strike: GO Might Soon Be Out On Linux

ELD, Horbo asked you simply to point out a story from Phoronix that turned out to be BS, and you failed to do that. One of the people you quoted claimed that Phoronix lied about Unreal Tournament 3...

Re: La Vida- The Sims For Linux

Hey Mickey, best of luck with the campaign.

I am a bit disappointed you're dropping the open source aspect, but since you're the main guy who's pushing this forward and doing all the work, it's...
  15. Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers - seems overlooked, but I found it fun

So I'd heard about Tiny and Big before, but when it came on Steam ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/205910/ ) I decided to try it out.

    It was actually a pretty fun game. It's a 3d jump-and-slice...

It's awesome to see more Linux games, but I'm afraid I have some harsh feedback on the Kickstarter page:
