    I better just leave it alone. All that intel gui there isnt even available for ubuntu . . Maybe ill just scrap the HDD and the optane and put a 2tb SSD in this thing, That would make it faster .

    I have an HDD spinup disk . Perhaps it may have use as a generic drive cache ? Does anyone know what resetting to non-optane does to the disk in BIOS ?

    Ok , perhaps pull optane and buy a m.2 SSD ? will that get me a new drive visible from ubuntu ? would reset to non optane get me a 16gb ssd ? I dunno what something that small would be good for...
