    I did what you said, turned off the secure boot in the UEFI. I think maybe I didn't do that the first time, getting it confused with turning off bit-locker perhaps?\

    I'm looking at this, told me to run

    bcdedit /enum firmware

    in windows command prompt as admin to list all UEFI boot entries and also gives instructions on how to delete them. Seems very similar...
