Thanks Jarrong that link worked for my mini as well.
Thanks standerone. Whether they are directories or not why can I delete them in a windows share and not over FTP?
All this is taking place over a LAN to a NAS. When I mount the NAS as a windows share I have full read write privileges including the ability to delete anything.
When I mount the NAS via ftp in...
I have an addonics mini nas set up and working quite well apart from one thing. I can read and write to the drive via ftp connect to network in nautilus. I can also delete the content of the...
For some reason playing about with the settings in pulse audio volume control stops the bluetooth mouse interfering with the bluetooth audio output. I do not know exactly what I did but the two...
I have turned off my wireless router to ensure it is not part of the interference problem. My bluetooth receiver/transmitter (sony wireless audio adapter, HWS-BTA2W) is connected to the input of my...
Hmmmmm, it seems that the bios showing bluetooth enabled and the bluetooth applet showing "bluetooth on" does not mean that I have on board bluetooth :) One bluetooth dongle later all is well.
New information, does this help anyone to help me?

Yes I see your point. The other side of the coin is that people choose low quality passwords as they get fed up of having a password accepted for change and then not working next time they log on.
I am running 9.04 32bit on dell mini 10v. The system can't even find my dell bt travel mouse in the bluetooth set up. All help welcome, thanks.
What are the length and format restrictions of forum passwords? I have had trouble resetting mine.
Thanks for that lowsky. After reading a few reviews I opted for the dell 5 button bluetooth mouse. It seems to have fairly good reviews, although it is not quite full size it is larger than most and...
I have recently bought a dell mini 10 v netbook. Can anyone recommend a full size bluetooth mouse that will connect to the netbook without a dongle?
And what is your evidence? Is there some evidence you wish to share with us about BN'S readership?
I was a bit early for Boycott Novel but nice try. Even if I had not been, their sources should be taken for their individual worth and not easily dismissed as you would like.
If you look around the net in the next few days I think you will find that what I said about mono not being included in Debian by default in my original thread starting post was absolutely accurate,...
Why are so many people so desperate to bury discussion of this important subject in the Ubuntu forums? Neither Red hat, Suse community or Debian are including mono by default. So why are Canonical?...
It has nothing at all to do with politics. M$ has a well documented history of doing this sort of thing. Encouraging standards it wants to be adopted and then later enforcing IP laws. If Canonical...
Thanks, but I read it hours ago, it seems to state that until M$ sues someone Canonical are happy as things are. This seems reckless to me. HMM you have made 8 posts one of which is this one complete...
I tried to post this to recurring discussions but could not. This means Red Hat, Suse community and Debian are not including it by default. So why is Ubuntu?
It means ordinary activities you would do every day, for example clean your teeth.
I wished I had missed jaunty out, although my lappy brightness buttons now work it only shuts down properly about 1 in 5 times. I will upgrade to 9.10 then 10.04 and stick with that for two years as...
I have seen prices all the way up to $320 for windows 7 ultimate non oed. Seriously I would not have it given to me unless I desperately needed a programme that only ran on it. How they get away with...
