Did you find a solution for that? Because I'm having the same trouble with 8.04 and couldn't find a solution so far.

Any other ideas what I could do?

    thanks

[ubuntu] suspend on Acer Extensa 5210

suspend and hibernate seem to crash my Acer Extensa Laptop. "dmesg" doesn't seem to give any helpful information, apart from that I am at a loss.

    any help would be appreciated.
  8. [ubuntu] Re: [SOLVED] Acer Laptop - delete key doesn't work in Hardy

I've got the same problem on an Acer Extensa 5210 -- I deleted afore-mentioned line, but that didn't help here.
