    I am not an expert but I would give testdisk a try but be very careful about selecting any save options just run it and you may have success, it has worked for me JUST BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT SAVING...

    Hi,

    Did you give grub-emu a try? Which I placed in the post prior to your recent post? It pulls up the grub menu you should be seeing.

    Run it and post it please, curious about the output.

    Sorry to interrupt, do you think that adjusting the key rate might allow the ESC or SHIFT key to be recognized? I have to tap mine very quickly in succession to get mine to work.
