    I figured out how to stop getting two IP addresses;

    After all it was the client at fault, not on the serverside (which I assumed due to new DHCP server).

    Do you mean while you play or after you've exited the game? If ingame then try change resolution ingame, it might be that you screen doesn't support the resolution the game is trying to set.

    +1 on that, you can do amazing things with HTML5 and JS.

    (Hopefully) Third-party-software such as Flash won't be considered "a standard" in the future. "A standard" should always be open imo.

    You can use winetricks to install other components in your wine-environment. Such as directX9 etc...

    Download the forge-files for your version of Minecraft (which probably is 1.6.2)
