    df -h shows the actual drive is only 6% used.

    Hello, I run Resilio Sync on my xubuntu machine, this is basically a private dropbox. It was syncing to my home dir, within an LVM partition which ran out of space completely. Things I've done:

    I don't know how you can cut an iso automatically, but I can think of a work around for you.

    Use a program called dvdshrink, it is a (freeware) windows program that works under wine pretty well....
