Try this if you have an Nvidia card: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=4987666&postcount=20
  2. Re: ubuntuguide.org homepage crashes and restarts X

Bug: X crashes and restarts on opening some sites (eg. http://www.ubuntuguide.org)

    Workaround: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=4987666&postcount=20

    Cause: Bad nvidia driver package.

If you do "rm -rf", it will delete the downloaded source archive! So wget cannot continue.. It will download again!

Poll: Re: HowTo: Installing and using KernelCheck

Thanks! Im also assuming you have removed the "rm -rf" line to remove the downloaded kernel source? Cause otherwise the "wget -c" doesnt make any sense :p

Poll: Re: HowTo: Installing and using KernelCheck

Just one suggestion, why dont you use "wget -c" instead of plain "wget" inside your script? That way we wont have to re-download the entire kernel source again if we just need to apply a new patch!

  19. Re: Howto Install 32 bit Firefox with Flash w/sound and Java for AMD64

Do that from one directory up :P Fron /usr/local, not from /usr/local/swiftweasel32!

Or, just run this from anywhere:

    ln -s /usr/local/swiftweasel32 /usr/local/swiftweasel
  20. Re: Error when using Adept (installing other software)

In /usr/local.. Tha same directory which contains swiftweasel32..
  21. Re: Error when using Adept (installing other software)

Just create a symlink from swiftweasel32 to swiftweasel..
