A thought just occurred to me. Canonical allows Amazon.com to sell CDs in North America, maybe they could expand that to include merchandise as well, so the shipping costs aren't so exorbitant.

I agree with you 100%. I actually thought the prices were pretty decent for most of the items, but the shipping is way, way to much.
