  2. [ubuntu] Re: Firefox 3 - Problems running on-line java games

    Did it work?
  3. [ubuntu] Re: Firefox 3 - Problems running on-line java games

Do a search in synaptic and search for jre. Try removing java 6 and installing java 5. Also
    sudo apt-get install sun-java5 plugin

PS... you will need Java 6 for frostwire.

  9. [ubuntu] Re: Getting FrostWire and Java to work in Ubuntu 8.04

You need Java version 5 to play online java games.

Version 6 won't work with java games but works with frostwire.

Work around for this is to keep switching accordingly.

[ubuntu] Java 6 vs. java 5 vs java games (pogo)

I cannot get any java games such as Pogo, only with Java 5, and I cannot get frostwire without java 6.

Bottom line is I have to uninstall and reinstall depending what I want to do.

  14. Re: Automatix: Automated Graphical Installer and Tweaker

    Nice work!

I noticed keyes has included the w32codecs. Wondering why the legalities are not an issue with Easy Ubuntu and they are with Automatix?
