I dont remember how long webos lasts on full charge... something like 7 days on standby. Android lats 4days on standby with wireless off. That is the best I can tell you. Also touchpad in android...
Yes I am running CM9 on touchpad. it is very simle to do. just go to www.rootzwiki.com and find a tutorial there. It runs great, but drains battery faster than webos a bit.
I tried compiling again with no improvement. Will try without building live555.
p.s.
Installed with Precise version of live555 and mplayer compiled ok. Just tried it and everything seems to...
mc4man, andrew.46,
Thank you. I will try compiling it today again.
Andrew,

I'm a happy owner of Asus G53sx-a1 laptop running 11.04 currently.
The original ath9k driver that is installed by default...

Andrew,
Thank you very much for this guide yet again. I have switched to Debian and managed to install mplayer on squeeze following your guide. So far all seems to be working great!
Thank you for the link. This solved my keyboard backlight issue on G53SX-A1!
Instructions in #7 and #8 worked for Asus G53SX-A1.
Thank you both authors!
Hmm, don't know if it has anything to do with the drivers but after I installed them my few working function keys on G53sx-a1 (like brightness) stopped working. Worked without the driver (before...
by updated kernel i meant new kernel :)
Strangely it does work for me. I can update the driver manually ofcourse or just drop it into /usr/src, link it and wait for new kernel if im lazy. Well I...
um not completely correct. The script installs the driver after the kernel update. it checks if the driver module is present and if not installs the driver you linked before the script. so if you...
