I'm currently running 8.04 because 9.04 doesn't support my card x3100. When I change to metacity to play a fullscreen game then change back to compiz using ALT+F2, my computer crashes...

I don't have the source folder anymore. I deleted it. I guess I messed up big time.

I did a search for this and found one thread where this was discussed but it didn't really help. I replaced nautilus with thunar using the psychocats tutorial and now thunar opens up...

So I just noticed that my fps got worse in glxgears after doing this. Does this mean I should not use it? I kinda hoped this would improve it...
