    Hey iNDEFiX, VirtuaBox can use raw disk or raw partition.
    This feature is described in VirtualBox 1.5.6 User Manual section 9.9 "Using a raw host hard disk from a guest".

    1. Are you sure the disk you want to do raw access is /dev/sda partition 4 ? If the partition does not exist, create it first.

    Don't assign an IP to eth0. Assign it to the bridge instead. It'll be the machine's IP as seen from all machines connected to bridged interfaces.
