Great news :)
I mean, it was time!
Yeah, I get the same symptoms too!
Hurra, I'm not alone! :D
Bump! :)
Hello,
I'm running a laptop with an Intel GC, and I often (at work and at home) plug an external monitor via the VGA port. The resolution is higher on my external screens.
The problem is:
-...
Finally, I did it by myself, playing around :)
The final thing is close to what you were talking about...
Here is the script (sorry for french speaking):
#!/bin/bash
## Script bash...
Hi, I'm at work right now, and I have at my right my Ubuntu lappy.
I have a list of email adresses (a few hundreds) in an html file, and they are extracted from a list in Outlook or TB, whatever,...
Oh thanks, I had overseen them ;)
Could anyone make some feisty debs?
I'll host them if necessary :)
Fx is desktop agnostic.
It works the same way on xfce (tested and approved) :)
Thanks, it has worked flawlessly on a regular Firefox on Feisty :)
It looks very interesting, since I don't use a tenth of Evolution's capacties and I've switched to xfce.
But, do you know if there is a way to import Evoltion's settings and mails?
Thanks :)
Yep, good luck ^^
Sorry, I won't pray for you, I have all week exams too :D
*goes to the library*
Ok, I'll try tomorow (I'm at home right now).
BTW, I had a doubt, and now I am sure: from school (open wifi) to home (wpa secured wifi), it works flawlessly.
But the contrary isn't true...
I'm really waiting the day it will be compliant with suspend2... If it was, I would never have to reboot my lappy!
Sadly, most of the time, after a suspend, I can't change of ESSID...
Scanning...
Commenting the line make the error message go away, apparently without side-effect...
I'm still keeping three problems:
- mailcap error at startup
- doesn't automaticaly connects to prefered network at startup
- cannot connect to an OTHER network after suspend2
:)
It works fine here, good job :)
BUT (yes, there is a but :p ) I still have the
Mailcap file /etc/mailcap, line 95: incomplete entry ignored.
error.
Maybe it has been corrected since, and I...
Actually, it's ok if I don't have to change of network. But I can't change after suspend...
I have to restart autoconnect and log out/in from Gnome...
I used to have the same problem with...
It looks like connection-manager is no more compliant with suspend2 since the introduction of the systray (well, the systray release).
Could you confirm?
Ok, I'll see in an other place :)
And I wish I knew anything about coding! (or some time to learn) :D
Anyway, I'll wait, or not use it :)
Thanks anyway ;)
Weird.
And since I have this problem I can't suspend any
more :/
And when I restart dbus, I get this:
Bah?
System > preferences > sessions > startup tasks (or something similar)
Add:
gnome-power-manager
:)
Hey, I have this problem to, didn't thought it was related to this :)
Anyway, I get rid of it by launching gnome-power-manager at startup...
But it is a dirty work-around :/
