    A real os should at least be able to read and write plain text, you think? But no, when I try to open my text files (mainly made with gedit) some characters are a mess, swedish letters rarely work...

    I was moving my top panel to sit on top of my bottom panel, for some reason, and then everything just froze. I had totem playing a avi film at the time, too, even if I don't think that's of interest....

    I myself does like to have the firefox menu in the window, and the rest in the bar.
    Get the plugin tiny menu and it will be much less big (<--can one say that!?)

    make sure you dont run the command when youre standing 'in' the cd directory, but instead runs "wine /media/cdrom/setup.exe" from anywhere else.

    I use my familys computer to syncronize my iPod, and the rest i do with my linux computer.
    That about your sound and video playing bad sounds creepy (hoho), i have no such problem.

    Nah, amarok dosent work with the famus iPod (i think, correct me if I'm wrong).
    But there is GTKpod, excellent program for syncing with the iPod.

    And about #1: I dont think anyone who dosent like...
