    hi,
    I have Ubuntu 10.10 installed on my 80gb hdd, disk has following partitions :

    1. /dev/sda1 = /boot (500mb)
    2. /dev/sda2 = / (20000mb)
    3. /dev/sda3 = linux-swap ...

    This is what I got when I tried while booting from HDD.


    fsck /dev/sda1
    /bin/sh: fsck: not found

    Then I tried booting from my USB drive and used...
