    Any updates on the status of this change? I recently did a Fresh install of Mythbuntu 14.04.1 migrating hardware to a new setup. This is the only issue I have left to get sorted out.

    Yes. I have 3 of them in my Mythbuntu 12.04 setup running Mythtv 0.27. Just make sure you have the firmware in /lib/firmware

    Try just grabbing the channels from the listing source instead of scanning. From the other thread I referenced, it says it does not work scanning.

    Yes it is. I no longer have analog channels in my area so I use only DVB tuners. I would have thought by the cable providers would no longer offer analog cable.

    Try setting it up as a DVB tuner. Not a MPEG2 Device.

    There is a refresh button in the MCC near where you select the Mythtv release you want. I had to refresh first and then select 0.27.
