    Re: I'm still using utorrent!!!

Thus far, I really like Transmission under Hardy.
  2. Re: Selling computers with Ubuntu.. good or bad?

It seems to be they went to some effort to make Ubuntu look worse than it really is, especially with the Kubuntu wallpaper in GNOME. Ubuntu obviously doesn't come with that pre-installed.

    Re: When Hardy is released...

I'd like to say I'll wait for some of the bugs to be taken care of, but we all know I won't. I'll update on release.

    Re: Filesharing on Campus

I REALLY like TorrentFlux. Also, mldonkey is good as well. Both use web-based interfaces.
  10. Re: Why isn't Gnumeric included in the default Ubuntu install?!?

I really prefer Gnumeric, primarily because it's lightweight and runs faster on my sloooow machine. That being said, I haven't had any problem with OO.org

I wonder if one of the reasons why there's really no malware for Linux is because malware developers don't target...
  14. Poll: Re: Would you rather go all-gtk+ or all-qt when it comes to apps regardless of the DE

I also prefer using GTK+ interfaces. I just prefer the look and feel a little bit better.

Re: What do non geeks want?

It seems to me that the OP's five points are very, very close to what Ubuntu actually is. In fact, Ubuntu may be easier to use than Windows. No searching for .exe files to install programs, no...
