rpms's solution of adding the php.ini file to the .drush directory didn't work for me unfortunately.

I had to go with the tkoopa's solution of editing the php.ini file @ /etc/php5/cli/

I'm having the same issue. I believe the recent update to flash is the culprit. I haven't found a work around.

I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug. I'm on 12.10 but had the same behavior on 12.04. If I have any window that isn't fully maximized and I drag it so that more of the window is off the screen...

:( purging and reinstalling didn't solve the problem. Restarting didn't solve the problem. Taking out my USB keyboard and just using the one built into the laptop didn't solve the problem.

I've used it and agree 100% it is a real pain. When I finally figured it out I wrote some instructions to myself just in case I ever wanted to do it again--likely not.
