We have a squid server running maverick. Slow ssh logins and top showing kslowd001 interrupting work. I believe the server is a IBM X306m but i may be wrong. Our other IBM squid server works fine.

reinstalled with x64 - latest CD and torrents with transmission work as expected.
Same problem on meerkat. ktorrent does the same thing. Processes cannot be killed - needs restarting. This is on x86.
Ive tried the pae kernel with the same results - Transmission locks up, system...
use the alternate install cd for raid and lvm - works perfectly
