    No just throw this command to a NEW Auto start.

    pactl load-module module-combine-sink
    Name it anything that you will remember it by.

    Is the HDMI on the Dock, or are you using the HDMI port from the laptop.
    And alsamixer is a good place to see if the HDMI device is muted.
    BTW They have improved that Audio Chip for your laptop....

    Youv'e not said what you have tried so I'll suggest trying>> 'alsamixer' in the terminal and try out the volume levels for speaker / headphones / master
