  2. [ubuntu] Re: Configuring 10.04 on HP TC4400 TabletPC...

OK, I tried setting ClickForce to a lower value and that didn't seem to have any effect.

The cursor tracks the stylus tip fine, it picks it up about 10mm from the screen and when I was in Lucid...
  3. [ubuntu] Re: Configuring 10.04 on HP TC4400 TabletPC...

    Serial Wacom Tablet eraser ERASER
    Serial Wacom Tablet stylus STYLUS

Would the fact that xinput and xsetwacom have them named slightly differently have an effect? I'm sure...

  5. [ubuntu] Re: Configuring 10.04 on HP TC4400 TabletPC...

I fired up a liveUSB Maverick this morning before work and had a quick play. I was using the xsetwacom and xinput bits last night to try and work out the weird behaviour in Lucid. All the settings...

  8. [ubuntu] Re: CPU frequency scaling xeon E5420 on S5000V

Have you tried "sudo modprobe p4_clockmod" ?

After that you can try installing cpudyn or cpufrequtils and having a play with them.

This worked for me on a HP DL380G3 using older 2.4Ghz Xeon...

    [ubuntu] Re: Login Screen Rejection

I'm having exactly the same issue on a freshly installed 8.04 machine.
LiveCD just looped when trying to login, but as I was getting a graphical display I assumed it just might need updating!...

    Re: HOWTO: Change bootup resolution

Excellent HOWTO, I bookmarked this as I'm forever trying to do this but always lose the table with the mode numbers in!
I originally used this to get a 1024*768 res screen working for an old laptop...

Re: Howto: Get a beautiful Conky 1.4.2 setup

Just a quick one here, I've dabbled with Conky before but could never get quite the right initial setup. I have now used the one from this guide and it provides all the details I need and I will...
  13. Re: HOWTO: Set your system up for Wake On LAN (WOL)

First off thank you for the handy little script! I knew what was happening (the wol setting is lost on powerdown) but didn't have the linux knowledge to yet implement a fix! I can also confirm this...
