    I think you can install it in your windows without uninstalling the windows itself. But it will be a dual boot. Nonetheless, you can uninstall it anytime without any effect from Windows.

    This works in Empathy, pidgin, and kopete. Google talk sabi nila. But actually, Google talk also uses the Jabber. SO I strongly suggest that you better open an account in Jabber than just Google...

    There are already hundreds of printers that are now supported by Ubuntu. My printer is HP D1660, its a deskjet printer probably came out just a year ago. And it is now supported by Ubuntu.

    Go System> Administration> Printing

    Right Clcik Deskjet d1600 series

    Click properties

    Click Settings
