    Thank you for your reply. But I came to the conclusion after K posted on last page. I was calling w/ parse. A quick change from execi to execpi fixed it.

    that little 'p' could be the difference maker an many scripts and templates. If your script has conky calls and tags in it, I'd recommend calling it with execpi so your matting gets applied.
