    An update on this. I haven't had a chance to do much with this recently but I got a scart adapter today and it worked straight away :D Thanks to anyone who gave me help with this.

    lol Well it is a t.v. that hasn't really been used in a long time so it is most likely screwed. It seems to be working fine but it seemed to good to be true.

    cheers for your help mate. I went back to 9.04 but it's not working there either. It's also not working in vista. The t.v. just says that there is no signal. I can't find any detect displays...

    My wireless went down earlier today and when i type in sudo lshw -c network it says my network is disabled. I dual boot and it works on vista. Please help!!

    My router is fine. It's only in Ubuntu it disconnects. I installed KNemo and now everytime it disconnects it reconnects a couple of seconds later so it's not so bad now.

    Mine disconnected again. It seems a lot of people have the same problem. Going to have to live with it until a solution is found. :(
