inside the init.d the script files have a specific pattern under which they are written. Try editing another already installed script and see how it is written
gwibber is multiprotocol. YOu can link it with facebook, pidgin twiiter and other services and update all em at once
i think it has to do with constant refreshes. I set refresh time to 5 mins and seems to be ok now! thnx for the info anyway :)
i installed gwibber too, but some times i get http error when trying to connect with twitter
