    I do not know Comodo Internet Security nor even if it works with Linux but the GUI to administer the firewall is gufw which you can install as usual with apt or software-centre or synaptic.

    I agree with TheFu except that I simply use xrandr in terminal.

    That lists all resolutions available to your system, marks what is in use with an asterisk but allows you to choose the resolution...

    Now that you have the sudo pm-suspend command working, see if my suggestion of the keyboard shortcut for xfce4-session-logout --suspend also works.

    It is so incredibly useful on my desktop machine...
