I have a PowerMac G3 B&W with 350Mhz G3, 650MB RAM and ATi Rage 128 with Ubuntu 8.04.1 running.

The first trouble I had with it was with the video resolution, starting with...

I got a bigger resolution: 1024x768!!! Modifying the xorg.conf file. With xrandr, it listed as the bigger resolution 800x600, and couldn't make it bigger that way.

However, it only seems to work...

I set the values for the Screen section just like your example and it's still on 800x600 (I didn't wanted to try the HorizSync and VertRefresh 'cause I don't know those...

Hi, after trying a lot, yesterday I finally installed Ubuntu 8.04.1 on my B&W G3. Why "finally"? Well... It gave more than a headache and still I'm not getting some stuff!
