    By the way: To many of us, "KVM" means "Kernel Virtual Machine". Hence, the confusion. "KVM switch" would be a more descriptive term.

    Generally speaking, most OSes don't care about memory upgrades except that architecture may limit the amount that can be used.

    "Drive failure" in that message may mean any number of things. A simple one would be if you only have one drive and it is unplugged (either power or data).
