    But! when I installed fglrx-updates (or something like that) it seems to have made it work? At least it's working now.

    Odd.... fglrx seems to be installed but fglrxinfo and all related commands don't seem to be there?

    I installed it and tried it out. It didnt work. I checked /var/log/syslog and it seems it's looking for nVidia cards. Since it didn't find one, it quit.

    forgive me, I don't deal with the logs as much as I should.

    How do i see what service they were for? if the login was successful etc and how do i turn off logging or at least cycle the logs?

    The only pattern that immediately jumps out is that 66.252.2.45 made A TON of connections. I have already blocked him so let's hope that works...

    well i still dont know what the problem is but ive just set a cron job to reset the computer every 12 hours and i havent had a problem since. so whatever that means.... lol
