[ubuntu] Re: How do I install KrPano?

This KRPano forum thread gives a lot more details on using KRPano in Linux from the command line. The configuration template files are the same as in the Windows build, and you can call them with:

[SOLVED] Re: Epson NX420 printer with working scanner

Thanks, that really worked well for me!

Note that there are some additional steps you'll need to take to get the network scanner working (as outlined on this page:...
  3. Re: Edit PDF files and add highlighting and comments

Thanks very much for this, it works very well! Far better than pdfedit, anyway.

    Re: Photo organization software?

    Gthumb or F-spot.

Gthumb has quite traditional folder-based navigation, whereas F-spot is more innovative - with a rather swanky slider to skim through photos by date, and export to Flickr etc....

Re: Howto: Backup and restore your system!

I was rather puzzled by the seemingly excellent compression of my >15GB system down to 2GB over Samba to a network drive, and even more so when a backup of only my /home produced exactly the same...
