    You have 2 drivers running at the same time...might be conflicting with eachother possibly. Looks like you need the "iwlwifi" module. Have you tried removing the other?

    I had this issue for the longest time too. I was didledaddling with modprobe -r and removed the module that Ubuntu was using for my wifi card. Then I retried to compiled the source and it worked.

    ifuse /path/to/mount --root
    have idevice plugged in

    sudo umount /path/to/mount
    when you want to unmount it :D
