Lets generate a new xorg.conf file.
Run "sudo nvidia-xconfig". Restart your computer and see if you can manage your display with "nvidia-settings".

Start by looking into "nvidia-settings" under X Server Display Configuration. Report back what you can see there.

Thanks to the user rww in ubuntu channel on freenode, the perfect tool for this is "mtr". It's included in ubuntu as default. The GTK version is no good, so make sure to use curses version.

On the link you provided, SICM and M-Ping is suggested. M-Ping can not plot a traceroute path more than one time. SICM does not seem to be able to do this at all.

I need to find a ping plotter that can ping each hop in a traceroute and present it in a diagram.

In the Windows world, it exist a excellent program called PingPlotter PRO....

You really should be using 8.04 LTS. When you encounter errors, no one are gonna help you if ubuntu 9.04 is the installation base.

The fix works. But you will have new problems after you solved this one.
If you gonna use Zimbra, use the recommended 8.04 LTS version instead.

libgmp3 does not exist under 9.04, but libgmp3cs2 exist.
You need to edit util/utilfunc.sh

I would like KernelCheck to work with distcc.
distcc only works when running as a user that is not root. KernelCheck is running make-kpkg as root. Anyone has a solution?

I have found out why distcc did not work for me with make-kpkg. It was because make-kpkg is running as root and distcc running as my normal user. distcc refuses to run as root. Anyone have a solution?
