Re: Why are you a active forum member

    There are many reasons.

    1. The people here are interested in the same thing I am. Linux. Many of the Forums users aren't even Ubuntu users, but because most distributions work in similar ways,...

The first link was written in 2010, and the second in 2015. Do these still apply for 19.04?

    Re: Loving ubuntu

Glad to see you are enjoying it.

If you are having problems with Ubuntu being slow, it could be that it is in a VM. Try doing a live boot off of a USB drive, (don't install, just boot into the...

  19. Re: Why do you choose Ubuntu but not Windows or MacOS?

Yes, but not the same type of data that Microsoft is collecting.

With certain utilities like Shut-Up10, you can disable a lot of Microsoft's Telemetry, but it still cannot be completely shut off. ...

    Re: YouTube 1080p 60fps

I wondered if that wasn't the case. Is there another app for viewing YouTube with that will playback video without stuttering? And how do I get that build of Chromium?

    YouTube 1080p 60fps

Whichever browser I use, seems to stutter the playback slightly, or sporadically in Kubuntu.

Firefox, Chromium, and Epiphany all seem to have this issue.

    Any ideas?

Re: Top Linux distros in your mind

    Legitimately, Kubuntu.

I am a big fan of the Ubuntu Flavor Family, because it is Debian Based, and the PPA system. Even Snaps work without problem.
