Something limits bandwidth per connection in default setup.
I used dl manager to dl file over 5MB and it easy hits my ul caps.

I know that I have slow internet (upload is 512kbps) but dl from my web server never reached near max (40-50KB), average is 8-12KB.
I am using pfsense as fw and nat to my web server (dynamic ip)....

I stick width LTS (classic gnome) for mass installation. Using Maverick for laptops (compiz and unity is not melted as in natty, I hate compiz). Maybe it is time to change wagon. Kubuntu or Lubuntu....

Even files that are only read by my redirector have to be in folder that is own by proxy/proxy.

I can write only to file in folder that is own by group "proxy".

Program finally works but width 2 problems.

1. program is locked when is called from daemon squid. If I stop and start manually squid it works.
2. program can not write to file (my log). It works...
