It is an ongoing guessing game. I can only suggest that it would be rare if you were the only person with such issues.

First study how to make refined google searches by using google search...

[ubuntu] Re: System Freeze after sometime

    600?? You mean 60 right?

No .. current show in Tab-Sidebar is .. 608 tabs .. mostly sleeping until I need some in play.

Now and again I dump these using Session Buddy and this is great for...
  8. Re: Ubuntu Bootloader installed on internal drive

There is a workaround. Install rEFInd on the external SSD. Or indeed on the main drive if preferred.

[ubuntu] Re: System Freeze after sometime

Regarding heavy usage of memory for each tab session I have less than your 16GB RAM - only 8GB - and yet I am able to refer to hundreds of tabs. in Chrome current count is 600 (admittedly this is too...

[ubuntu] Re: System Freeze after sometime

Even long term users are puzzled by syslog language. It is like Klingon language.

I am only reading what logs you posted for clues and it does refer to peripherals so are you running the drivers...

[ubuntu] Re: System Freeze after sometime

If you use glogg as I suggested you can scan the logs yourself looking for keywords such as

    Failed
    Succeeded
    error
    fail
    connect
    FIXME
    snap
    Permission denied

[ubuntu] Re: System Freeze after sometime

Here is one troubleshooting idea. It is just detective work / guess work.
Clearly you have transferred the problem between PC's.
A costly test but at least you now have a dual PC.

[kubuntu] Re: Dual Boot with Windows 11?

If you have Windows 11 (apparently my humble Dell does not support it) then you can leverage WSL2 which is an instance of Ubuntu in full. WSL1 is just the bash version. In short, dual boot might not...

  15. Re: Dualbooting Ubuntu and Manjaro, 2 disks, encryption and slow boot

I make a suggestion which is "off piste" ..
It is to try installing Refind to extend boot options ..

  16. [SOLVED] Re: Multiple computers locking up with 20.04LTS

Intuitively .. you may have setup swap on all systems.
I would next explore that option.
    And/or increase RAM.
I usually suggest Stacer for monitoring processes/memory usage.

  17. [ubuntu] Re: DockingStation keeps disconnecting on reboot

Have you tried a USB 3 port near your motherboard (i.e. at the back?). I am running Ubuntu 20.04 now on both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 to several docking stations and old drives in container. Port...
  18. [SOLVED] Re: Multiple computers locking up with 20.04LTS

In your shoes I would come to the same conclusion. But I would then ask myself do these freezes all occur at the same time on all four systems? The only commonality I can think of is common power...
  19. [ubuntu] Re: How to turn off all the bells and whistles/ basic mode/adjust for best perf.

Another approach which I use is to install Stacer and use the Stacer GUI to shut down various installed apps.
It does add another GUI but does help with optimising performance.
